Please read these Terms of Service carefully. By accessing or using VRC POP, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VRC POP ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("User," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and VRC POP.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Service Description
VRC POP is a community analytics platform that displays aggregated statistics about VRChat group activity. The Service provides:
- Aggregate group membership and online statistics
- Instance population data and trends
- Historical activity analytics
- Group comparison and ranking features
Data is collected through VRCX, an open-source third-party VRChat companion application. The Service displays only aggregate, non-personal statistics and does not track individual users.

VRC POP IS NOT AFFILIATED WITH, ENDORSED BY, SPONSORED BY, OR CONNECTED TO VRCHAT INC. IN ANY WAY.
"VRChat" and related names, marks, emblems, and images are trademarks and/or intellectual property of VRChat Inc. Use of these terms on this Service is for identification purposes only and does not imply endorsement.
This Service is an independent community project created for educational and informational purposes. The data displayed is collected through third-party tools and may not be accurate, complete, or current.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm any individual or group
- Attempt to scrape, copy, or redistribute data from the Service in bulk
- Attempt to identify individual VRChat users from aggregate data
- Use automated tools to excessively access the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
- Circumvent any security measures or access restrictions
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without permission
- Misrepresent your affiliation with any group or organization
5. User-Submitted Content
The Service may allow users to submit group IDs for tracking or assign tags to groups. By submitting content, you:
- Represent that you have the right to submit such content
- Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and store the content
- Acknowledge that submitted content may be visible to other users
- Accept responsibility for the accuracy and appropriateness of your submissions
We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content at our sole discretion.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service's design, code, and original content are the property of VRC POP. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our original content without permission.
Group names, logos, and related content displayed on the Service are the property of their respective owners. VRChat-related trademarks are property of VRChat Inc.
7. Service Discontinuation
The Service may be discontinued at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.
This includes, but is not limited to, discontinuation if:
- VRChat Inc. requests cessation of data collection activities
- VRCX becomes unavailable or changes its functionality
- Technical or financial constraints prevent continued operation
- Legal requirements necessitate shutdown
We make no guarantees regarding the availability, continuity, or longevity of the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VRC POP AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or rewindss of any data displayed on the Service. You use the Service at your own risk.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VRC POP and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Any content you submit to the Service
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
